2nd March, 2017 : DFID GMG Facility Kenya announced
The official announcement of the Green Mini-Grid Facility Kenya by AFD/DFID took place during the GIZ Solar mini-grid financing workshop.
The first call for proposal is expected mid-March and is opened to private sector companies, as well as NGOs and local entities engaged in the development of Green Mini-grids (GMGs) in Kenya. The call for proposals is opened to project at different level of maturity: pre-feasibility stage, development stage and execution stage. More information will be available in the next few weeks.
